CASA SOLARIS uses a small amount of energy from renewable sources (solar energy) and from the national grid, while producing a larger amount of energy from photovoltaic panels. The significant surplus energy thus generated is transferred to the grid, generating revenues from energy sale and the government green certificates support scheme.

This approach not only helps significantly reduce operating costs, but also generates extra income through the sale of surplus energy. The initial construction costs are hence recovered during the lifetime of the building.

4. The initial additional investment of Casa Solaris versus a standard house is recovered in 7-10 years.

– The graph shows how total costs evolve over time (initial investment plus recurring costs of utilities) for Casa Solaris versus a standard house of similar size (120 sqm, 3-4 people).

- 7-10 years is the specific depreciation period for the initial additional investment

- The total costs incurred by Casa Solaris decrease over time, while those of a standard house increase
